The use of this technology to produce plastic products began in about 1930 . During the 2nd World war and then in 1950s it was developed by two main transitions , that is by powdering polyethylene (PE) granule and using the hot air oven , and reached its present position. The distribution of the use market in North America
In 1977, the machinery of this technology was imported to Iran by a Norwegian company. Afterwards, an important transition didn’t occur in this industry till 1998. By that time the capacity of the active companies in this field had been less than 1000 tons per year. Then a rapid and growing movement has begun in Iran and still continues, and nowadays the capacity of the production of all Iranian companies in this field is nearly more than 15000 tons a year. The technical staff in the Tabarestan Plastic Complex are the pioneers of the technical and scientific development of this industry in Iran.
